National Gaming Day 2011
If you haven't heard already, the library has just added a brand new XBox 360 Kinect to our gaming collection! Yes, you heard right! I know it's hard to believe the library can be so cool, but let's face it, we are.
It made it's debut on National Gaming Day, November 12th. We put it together and played all day.
We will have a collection that you can check out and take home, but it isn't through processing quite yet, so we're hoping by the end of December-ish it will be ready to go! Meanwhile, come on over to the library and play our in-house games. We've got:
The Michael Jackson Experience
Twister Mania
Plants vs. Zombies (will someone pleeease come play this one!? No one has checked it out yet, and I'm dying to see it!)
Madded NFL 12
create
Cabela's Adventure Camp
Kinect Adventures
Kinect Sports Season 2
I'll leave you some more pictures of what we did on gaming day, so you'll remember to come next year:)
That's right, we rocked it old style too, with some Bingo.
CHECK OUT THE TRAILER, PEOPLE! Then make sure that any ideas you have for Hunger Games parties you tell your friendly librarians here at the RLPL
I'm totally ready to get my "Geek" on all over this movie!

Calling all teens! We've got a super creepy activity happening in the Teen Space on Wednesday, October 19th @ 7pm. We're calling it a "Stuffed Animal Re-Do" and we're gonna let you cut apart different stuffed animals and then sew them back together however you want!
Your own Frankenstein teddy bear
